MAYDAY RUN 3/5/10

Its that time of year again to take part in this annual event. We can meet up at 9.00am at The Rose and Crown Pub. On the A21 at Green Street Green Nr Orpington Kent. The Pub is situated on the A21 on the third roundabout after you leave the M25 @ J4. For those who lack a sense of direction, the sat nav co,ords are N51 21.042 E000 05.295 Elevation 81m. After meeting up we then go & meet up with the hundreds of other bikers at Locksbottom about 2 miles away. After a good look round at the many bikes & bumping into old mates we then join in the run to Hastings. There is no way we would ever manage to stick together as a group, so i suggest when we get there we meet up at the entrance to the Pier which is easily spotted. I cannot recommend a helmet cam strongly enough as its a real spectacle on the way there. Hope to see you on the day.

It should be noted, in the interest of fairness and freedom of information, that Mr Harris has two, yes that's two sat-nav units and seems to use one at all times...even to find the bog...

Looked out for you guys down there. Met Chris and (I think) Mike from Aspire. Also Treasure and Tubby from GB Riders (Tonbridge chapter!) Gave out lots of D Day ride leaflets etc. Sorry to have missed you all.
